I wasn't really home this weekend (had my grandmother visiting) and only just found out that DG was at that path of that tornado. I did see aerial photographs of the path that thing took. And I have no idea what to say that hasn't already been said or doesn't seem shallow.

In one way I'm glad I only just found out, I'd probably have slept and functioned very badly in those periods where you didn't post... I'm very glad to hear that you're (relatively) oke and only had some minor injuries.

Our waterbutts are emptying... We've not had any rain (or something that is worth the name: rain) for over a month now. There was some precipitation (wouldn't call it rain) on the night from thursday to friday, but that wasn't even enough to clear the leaves of the dust... And still no rain forecasted till July...

No rain until July?! Yeouch! So that's where our warm spring is camping!
Last year, we spent May 1 sunning ourselves and having picknicks. Now my AC's turned to 30C.
