The drought we had last summer seemed to permanently kill much of my lawn. Now it looks terrible. I will plant more seed and watch the grass die again this year.

Worrying my 18 month old notebook's CPU is getting to warm (60 degrees centigrade when idle, around 65 when only surfing). I'm not sure, but I think it used to run cooler. I regularly clean the fans and air vents with compressed air so I doubt it's that. I read online that it regularly happens that there's a problem with the heatsink. So I emailed the computerstore I bought the notebook, and extra insurance, asking if they think it's getting too warm and if they can check the heatsink (and how much it would cost me).

I'm not expecting an answer until Monday so this weekend I limit myself to surfing online and not playing games.

Sometimes I really hate computers!

I was at the pub the other day and Stretch told me about his mate who had a horse near death. He called the local University here. (it's an agricultural faculty. I'm having the same problem (at another website) - any video that is posted thru the newsfeed either is not showing up or won't run when it does. Not sure if it is a Flash issue or something else - but is something I want to research when I run out of other things I'm supposed to be doing...
