Watched a fantastic film with my favourite actress.
The Tourist

WOW! Didn't have such a pleasure from a film for a long long time.
Considering that it was accompanied by posh teas such as Fortnum and Mason's Assam Hattialli FTGFOP and The East India Company's Emperors Yunnan

Water ect.. I hate it when that happens, I see something I like but look at the price and pass, and regret it for the rest of my life. (reminds me of when the BS shop Bargain shop, was closing, it was the last day and they had a quite a few flats of chocolate bars left, cheap but I thought what the heck don't kneed them) Now spending a dollar a bar I think about them

I don't want your lonely mansion with a tear in every room
I just want the love you promised, beneath the halo moon
But you think I should be happy with your money and your name
And hide myself in sorrow while you play your cheatin' game.

Silver threads and golden needles cannot mend this heart of mine
And I'll never drown my sorrow in the warm glow of your wine.
You can't buy my love with money for I never was that kind
silver threads and golden needles cannot mend this heart of mine

Good 'Golden Week' morning, everyone! Already the cars are lining up to for their traffic jams, and I'm having my first mug of Ahmad English Breakfast tea (in honor of DessertBlues) with a plate of feta chees, dates, olives, and flatbread.

Anyone offering Iranian Beluga caviar? It sounds as if you are having a wonderful time! Please keep the reports coming!

Ahhh... the pleasures of good entertainment and good tea... who can ask for more? Except perhaps, more tea. Thank you, I think I will! A second mug of Ahmad English Breakfast tea!

Thanks for the travel report, desertblues. That area sounds lovely.

ah yes, Turkish toilets. No paper towels at the sinks usually either. Made many friends during rest stops while on weekend trips in Turkey, for I always (ALWAYS) carried travel packs of tissue and baby wipes in my travel pack...

Standard in Japan too, although that's changing quickly. Pocket packs of tissues are used as advertising media and handed out for free around major train stations, usually by young people with multi-colored hair and lots of metal piercing in their faces... (It's the only work they can get here.)

Third mug of Breakfast tea...

OK so I flew home today. In the course of a 5 hour plane ride I managed 3 cups of bancha, two cups of Oolong, and three cups of Pu erh.

A quiet moment before departing for Tabriz.
In my cup Iranian tea at last; a black tea Debsh Tea- Tehran. Unfortunately the water is heavely chlorinated, but it tasts allright.

For dinner I had a lovely eggplant dish; chopped onions, roasted eggplant, chopped walnuts, koriander.
Breakfast was served by bowing waiters, wearing white gloves and reading my every wish from my lips....
Real honeycomb, sweet clotted cream, flatbread, soft fetacheese, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, eggdish with peppers and tomatoes. Tea and fresh orange juice.
Hardship, hardship, all this travelling.........

Caviar is all for the export, but this is the region for it indeed, Stitchawl.
