I'm all in favor of a blind vote. How about next vote we PM PB with our vote and he can keep a tally and let us know the winner at the end. And nobody say what you voted for until at least the vote is over. That sounds like a plan. Anyone else in favor?

Of course I'm in favour but it will depend on if Bob is willing to do it. It is more work for him.

If it does happen, should no one say who they voted for before the vote is revealed? I think it could be just as fine if people say what they like.

I purposely vote as early as I can so as not to be swayed by others choices. It also assures that I do vote instead of "giving up" and not making a choice at all.

But I do love the idea of moving to a blind vote, for the book club.

There's a simpler solution to this: ballotage.
Everybody votes his/her book of choice. When the poll is closed, a new poll opens to decide between the two most voted books. Of course, if the original winner gets, say, 40% or more, there is no need for a second poll.

But for the people who wait and vote for a possible winner instead of his/her actual choice, that will still happen because the voting is not blind.

LOL, that's what I've already suggested, which everyone didn't like and/or ignored!

I actually like the blind voting idea better, but we could always do both.
