I am from Missouri but have lived in Osaka since 1984. I teach English at a university. I have done some research on using e-readers in education. I have two e-readers myself, a first and a third generation Kindle. I enjoy reading a lot and like not paying shipping when having books sent to Japan.

I have applied to talk about e-reading at a conference in Viet Nam next Fall (Sept. 2011). I found this site when looking for information about e-reading in Viet Nam; for example, how does the government feel about the Internet. If anybody lives there or knows about it please let me know.
