I have that kettle at home. It works great. One of the reasons that I like it is because it is easier to switch between teas. I have my 4 liter hot water dispenser at the office which I love for its convenience but I have to remember to change the temperature in order to let the water cool down before making a different type of tea.
I thought that you were always suppose to boil the water and then let it cool down. I read on a website that 2 minutes gets you from boiling to 195 and 5 minutes gets you from boiling to 175. |

People think that I am nuts. I have been carrying tea bags and four vials of tea with me to my meetings but I have had good tea. Lots of strange looks but plenty of good tea. I picked up a cute coffee mug from the local art museum to use on the plane tomorrow. The thermos mugs that I have been using are great for keeping the hot water very hot but the tea made in them does not taste right. So hot water to be carried on to the plane and a mug for making the tea. Yeah Per Diem!
So today I have rooibos, oolong, and pu erh. Life is good. A bit boring at the hotel but good. |

It's Friday-finish-work time here, ie the beginning of the weekend.
I'm pouring some passionfuit wine to celebrate. |

It does. It brings the water to a rapid boil, then lets it cool to which ever temperature I set.
Don't tell me? I heard Charley Chan say that once! Quote:
