Oh no. I just turned the local news back on a few minutes ago and saw it, so I came on MR to check on DG. I hope she's able to check in again soon.

Thanks. There's also the possibility that the cell network is overwhelmed, especially if part of it has been damaged. That doesn't happen as often as it used to, but it still does occasionally. Fingers crossed that she and Tim are both okay.

I just talked to DixieGal. She and tim are ok except for scratches but the house is crushed. They were in a closet. The houses beside hers are just holes in the ground. She said they have somewhere to stay if they can get the car out. Lots of chainsaws and stuff in the background and she couldn't talk long. I told her we would help in any way we can once she knows what she needs. And btw the new bathroom took probably the least damage except all the glass blew out.
