KennyC has it right. I am ranting about not having anything to rant about. Maybe it's the turkeys coming into the yard and eating the corn meant for the deer. How rude!

Or having to start a new thread to not rant. Sounds like a govt program where they pay farmers not to grow crops.

I have a rant. I found some fossilized eye shadow while looking for some dark green. It is 10 yrs old if it's a day. Now my eyes are itchy and blurry. Going now to wash it off.

I hate customer service people who can't tell the truth. When you get caught in a lie, at least have the good manners to just apologize!

I ordered my new jacket the other day, but the company wrote back and said that because my billing address is different from my shipping address, they had to wait to hear from my bank about updated shipping info. I called the bank, quickly made the needed changes, but out of curiosity, checked my account. According to my bank, it seems that the jacket company CHARGED me already, even though they wouldn't ship.

I called customer service this morning to advise them about the updated information, and to ask why they had already charged me for the merchandise. The CS rep said "sir, we haven't charged you yet. We only charge after verification." I then told her that the bank told ME that the charge had already gone through... She hemmed and hawed, and tried to tell me that it 'only looks that way...' I said 'Gee, it looks that way to the bank too! They are the ones who tell me that you've already charged my account!' "Umm, err... I see that the account is now verified so we will ship your jacket today. Thank you for calling customer service. Good bye."

Well, all's well that ends well, I guess.

Oh hey! I thought of another rant! ...

Make french fries out of rutabaga they said. Half the calories and a third of the carbs they said. You can't tell the difference from potato they said.

THEY LIED!

It tastes like pan fried rutabaga!
