Here is the required information:



• What e-book formats does your device support?
EPUB (Adobe DRM), PDF, TXT, HTXT, HTML
• Is there a special directory on the device in which all e-book files should be placed?
K:\e_book
• We also need information about your device that calibre will collect automatically. First, if your device supports SD cards, insert them. Then connect your device. In calibre go to Preferences->Advanced->Miscellaneous and click the “Debug device detection” button. This will create some debug output. Copy it to a file and repeat the process, this time with your device disconnected.

Your device is not reporting its vendor and product names to windows
        as can be seen looking at the debug output. Look at the lines

            ...VEN_&PROD_&...

        A properly working device would report something like:

            ...VEN_SONY&PROD_PRS-650&

        Without this it is not possible for calibre to support your device.

        You can use the Connect to folder function to connect to your device
        instead. Click the Connect/Share button in calibre to access this
        function.

My Hanvon N618 device does seem to be recognized by my computer, so let me send you the debug information and see if my post can also help the previous poster.

I am trying to get my Hanvon N618 supported by Calibre. It claims to support TXT, HTML, PDF, EPUB, DOC, XLS and also JPG, TIF, BMP, PNG, GIF, WAV, WMA and MP3 files. The device has a "bookcase" file, but I don't know how to extract the precise file name. As instructed in the Calibre Help file, I have run two debugs, one with the device connected and one disconnected. here they are.

With the Hanvon N618 connected and recognized by Windows Explorer
