Amazon UK Ebook Sale

According to the ImagesBookseller, Amazon has launched a two-week Kindle sale which will follow the pattern of Christmas’ “12 Days of Kindle” promotion. That promotion saw a sales increase of 363%.

The campaign represents the most aggressive price push on e-books by Amazon since the Kindle was launched in the UK 18 months ago, with the price of more than 200 e-books heavily discounted. Other titles in the promotion include Christos Tsiolkas’ The Slap, priced £1.03, Anthony Horowitz’s Stormbreaker, priced 95p, and William Boyd’s Ordinary Thunderstorms, priced £1.23.

The sale will kick off with Michel Faber’s The Crimson Petal and the White priced £1.47.

I cannot find a comprehensive list of the books on sale but doing a search of the top 100 in each category (Novel, Science Fiction, History etc) will bring up the books that are around the £1.50 mark

It's a pity that the American website - where unfortunately I am forced to buy from - can't match the variety and pricing of the UK site! My choices on the .com website are further hampered by Geographical restriction and choice is somewhat limited to say the least and generally more expensive to make matters worse. It's only through the more enlightened authors like Saffina Desforges that we are seeing some parity.
Cheers
Paul
