Mobi formatter wanted
I hope that this is a suitable topic for this forum; it's in effect a position vacant ad.

I recently started a thread about a US academic who wanted me to do an ebook from a complex text-book which has, among other things:
- many long quotes, some of which are nested - that is, he quotes himself quoting someone else - and for which he wants clear right and left indentation, and
- many footnotes.

I have prepared an ePub version, but have not been able to convert that to a satisfactory mobi version. Since Kindle users outnumber ePub users in the US he has asked me to ask here whether anyone would be willing to negotiate with him to make a mobi version of the book, either directly or by using the XHTML files and ePub that I have already done.

The academic is not a member of this MobileRead forum, and does not know a lot about ebooks.

On our wiki that his a full list of conversion services that can be used to convert from one format to another. Of course, this is not free, but they do professional jobs.

As far as I know, right indentation is not possible in the Mobi format, and nested blockquotes don't work. I would use a smaller font for the inner quotes, for instance.
