Adding language

Hi,

At this moment I add the language of a book into a custom tag (language: xx)
Is there a way to add (AND READ!!!) this out of the opf-file?
There is a tag for it, but I do not see the way to get in in my frontend:

<dc:language>xx</dc:language>

No, there isn't and a bit of googling would have told you it's on the TODO list.
