Just Bought the CRAIG Android 7" Tablet from CVS - Page 17

I just switched from 4.2 to 4.3 on my Craig. I miss the control 4.2 had over the home screens. Is there any advantage to using 4.3 over 4.2. I found that screen orientation is tricky. If I set my reader to portrait, then after reading, the home screen stays in portrait even though orientation is still set to automatic. If both are set to automatic both respond to rotation.

Also my Kindle app still will not download the book I purchased. It will download the guide, and another free book I tried, but also refused to download a second free book. I have contacted Amazon, and a very helpful rep said he would go up the line to the app developers, but I haven't heard back in a week.

Does anyone have comments or suggestions?

I say stick with 4.2. I think the Rooted ROM should be best off the OEM ROM is very really quick! It seems that Launcher Pro was replaced by AW Launcher EX. I am not a fan of the AW Launchers. Launcher Pro is smoother but can use memory.

Amazon seems to be interested in selling the Kindle Tablet. The software is flaky for Android. Nook Android App is the same.

I was back at CVS today. Saw someone returning their Craig tablet. I didn't talk to the guy, but I was almost tempted to ask him why and encourage him to do an exchange rather than a return.

Ok. I think, only you can handle this one,
I have Craig Tablet ofcourse brough from CVC. I had problem and find instructions for that and it work perfect i root it and use like 2 weeks till yesterday late. Now i have new problem that i am thinking you may help. Basically tablet start up looks normally small green android at left upper corner and disappear seconds later then the text " Android_" appear lower left side as usual and small thing "_" blinking and blinking and keep blinking but never starts. So, what is your opinion and there is a way to fix that problem. if you need to know more about it just message back i will look forward to hear from you.
Thank you for that you gave me already opportunity to have fun with this thing for 2 weeks. I like to fix it and keep. thanks.

It sounds like the update may have gone wrong. You might want to flash it with the firmware with RKAndroidBatchUpgrade and try it again. Let me know if you need instructions for that.
