Oh man, what a day! It turns out my new closet is 2,3 meters high ... Too high to fit in our elevator So we had to carry two big boxes, 50kg each, and two slightly smaller 20kg boxes up the stairs to the third floor. My brother had to do most of the work because I really don't have that much strenght in my arms. The poor guy was sweating so hard by the end so that I had to wash his t-shirt ...

Anyway, we're both just a bit sore My new wardrobe is great, there's LOTS of room for clothes. I'll need to go shopping soon

Now I'm going to relax with a cup of Rooibos Persian Dreams.

That's a nice big closet. The good news is you don't have to carry it up the stairs again!

Mine's a latte with a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast involving a lot of fejoas from the garden.

Not that much strength in the arms, but the brain ...

Washing the T-shirt was a smart thing so he would not soil the upholstery of the chair when you gave him dinner. Brain ...

closet == wardrobe?

To me a closet sounds like a small room, rather than a piece of furniture. Thank goodness C. S. Lewis's American Publishers didn't decide to rename his book, "The Lion, the Witch and the Closet" for the US market!

Poor Iridal can't win -- when she calls it a wardrobe, people think she means clothes, and when she calls it a closet, others think she means a room.

Around here, at least among older people, it might be called a chifforobe.

She could have said "Armoire" which is also like a wardrobe, kinda. It could be French for wardrobe?

Well this is the end of my story.
Let's have another round of booze.
And if anyone should ask you just tell them;
I've got those St. James Infirmary Blues.

I almost woke up this morning. Answered a couple of time sensitive e-mails, and made a post or two while drinking a mug of China Black. I lasted almost 30 minutes before laying back on the couch and sleeping for another three hours. I need more.

Come on, Betty...we'll go over here in this corner and plot revenge... if we can stop laughing long enough!
I've been checking under the bed and in the closet (wardrobe? Fusuma?) before moving past them, and sitting with my back away from the doors and windows. I've removed the Aces and Eights from the deck of cards just to be on the safe side.

It's this latest craze going on about vampires, etc. As long as the sun doesn't touch me, I'm OK. It's raining pretty hard right now, so no sun. (Hopefully, if I live through the night, tomorrow's Cherry trees should be in full bloom!)
