Hi! (First post... yaaa me!).
Currently reading Ian M. Banks - "Consider Phlebas". I had read his "Player of Games" ages ago and figured I'd work though his Culture series book by book. I'm also working though Terry Prachet's Diskworld Series. Just finished up "Witches Abroad" and have "Small Gods" queued up next. And I'm anxiously awaiting the arrive of Jim Butcher's next Dresden book "Ghost Story". Man, what a series that is! Mostly reading on a color nook but also the odd paper back from flea markets/garage sales/library. |

I absolutely love Iain Banks (his non-scifi persona), BUT not Iain M Banks, as I just can't get into Space Opera sci-fi. The Wasp Factory has to be one of my all time faves. |

I was reading Diva by Alex Flinn, stayed up late last night to try to see if there was anything worthed it. you know, because it's usually boring at the beginning (it took me 2 whole years to finished the 1st book of Les Misérable
![]() This morning I try another one by Alex Flinn also: A kiss in time, if I remember it right. Just a few first pages before going to school so I cannot say anything about it, but I have a feeling that it should be better than Diva. Quote:

Thanks for the "hello's" but I think I'm going to have to leave this website. It's horrible!
I've only been here a short time and I've already added 5 or 6 books to my list of books to read. And found a link to Project Gutenberg's Sci-fi page. And from there the Fantasy one. Good lord... how much is a guy supposed to read!? I had started an Evernote account just to keep track of books to read. I'm afraid if I stick around it will grow in size until it becomes a black hole of the internet... all data getting sucked down it's unfathomable size. For the sake of the internet... I must go. Well... maybe just 1 or 2 more books... This place is evil. ![]() rv |
