Strange how the bathroom has become such an important room in Western houses. I can't say I've ever had much interest in decorating them. I do like the bathroom in my current apartment though, because it has a window (with tomatoes on the windowsill soon, hopefully ).

I'm going to have to wire up the house with "nanny cams" - to capture the kitten antics for you folk.

So this morning I'm sitting at the kitchen table shoveling in my scrambled eggs ... when a kitten drops into my plate, chirps happily, and rockets off! I astutely interpret this as indicating "I'm bored and the other 2 cats won't play with me" - so out comes the magic red dot on the floor, and I finish breakfast.
The so-called 4-month old kitten now weighs in at over 6 pounds.

Our cats are all afraid of the rodents here called squirrels, they are funny looking things to me. They look more like rats than squirrels, you decide.



From what I read, they aren't really squirrels but tree shrews, all I know is that the cats run for the hills when one ventures in the sun room
