Was glad for you though.
It doesn't matter I'm glad too, because tomorrow I'll have 2 HUGE mirrors (the doors of the wardrobe) so I can admire myself from every possible side

Well crap. I still can't make decent tasting iced tea from anything but "junk" teabags. I give up. Yes, Stitchawl, this time I boiled the water on the stovetop, but if anything, this batch tastes WORSE. I'm trying to use the rest of the samples I got from Adagio, I thought maybe icing them would help (since I don't usually drink strongly flavored iced tea, only hot), but no...

One dyin' and a burying.
One dyin' and a'buryin'.
One dyin', six carrying me...
One dyin' and a'buryin'.

Yes, it's true... I died last night from KTS (Kleenex Tissue Suffocation.) I sneezed and blew my nose so many times that the used tissues built up to critical mass and suffocated me! Somehow, my caring wife slept through it all, no matter how loud I moaned trying to wake her up to console me.
Damn... Well at least I'm not coughing any more, but my nose is falling off.

Only Yorkshire tea and rice this morning. I'm far too weak to make anything better.

NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER! If you never give up you WILL succeed eventually. I don't understand why you haven't already, but here's one more trick.. "Lipton's Instant Iced Tea." You can get it with lemon and sugar, sugar only, and straight. I buy the straight stuff when I'm abroad (can't get it here in Japan) and oddly enough, it's tastes pretty good to me! It shouldn't. It's Lipton, so it should really suck big time, but I like it. Go figure. I came back from Florida this winter with five bottles of the stuff.

Just to check... did you also boil the tea bags? Or did you boil the water first, THEN add the teabags when it was off the flame? You should NOT boil the teabags.

More tea... more tea... more tea...

Blech! I knew I should have jumped in earlier when you had the audacity to try to tell a Texan how to make Southern sweet tea! Shel, carry on. We know how sweet tea is supposed to taste, and it ain't nothin' like Lipton's Instant Iced tea.

Ahemm.... Boiling saddle blankets in coulee water, then allowing it to cool does NOT make good iced tea. Not even when made from unused saddle blankets. On the other hand, chili made from old saddle themselves can be tasty.
