Didn't people with the pirated ebook go around posting spoilers everywhere trying to ruin the ending for people before the final book was even published? Maybe she just thought "sod you, then".

The only reason quoted was the fear of being pirated... Either she's an absolute internet-noob and has never heard of it or she was simply stupid, because her books were online the moment (and even before) they were sold. So, fear of piracy is just silly because it has nothing to do with the electronic availability of books, but rather the demand of the books....

Nah, really, if someone can find the books in ePub, properly formated, with no Americanism, well..
A copy that would resist a side by side comparison with the p-book.

IMHO, the one reason i would still buy the books if they comes out if to have a real copy i can "trust".

Now that she's run out of ideas it would make commercial sense to milk it a bit more with ebook releases. It's not as if there is anything to lose because all the production costs are already more than covered. So even if they sold them for $1 each it would be free money.
