I really crave more coffee, but I'm already a bundle of nerves. If I ca't channel this energy, I will bust a brain artery before the 20th, when I go back for more tests with the bad mammo.

I have been planning my next project for after finishing the bathroom remodel. We have nice leather living room furniture, but at 3 years old, the comfy soft cushioning is flat. So I've been watching utube videos on how to fix this. Apparently it is a very common problem with leather, because not only does the soft low density foam compress, but also the leather stretches as it gets more supple.

But I really crave more coffee right now this very minute while typing this instantly. NOW!!!!

A cup of Temple of Heaven. Chinese green tea (to contribute to multiculturalism idea)

I must share this source. Very short and concise descriptions of some of green teas (maybe there is more to the site, I dunno. I didn't investigate any further).

When we were in Koblenz at the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel, we stayed at a winery on a hill. It was beautiful. So much so that Koblenz made it to my top 5 places to emigrate to one of these days.

This is the place http://www.hotel-grebel.de/index_en.html

The peoplein the village around the winery were even more beautiful than the village itself. We would be strolling around, admiring the charming houses and gardens, and the owners would rush over to become acquainted. I think we met half the people who live there! And the winehaus staff and owners treat each other and their guests like family members.

I could easily spend the rest of my life there.

We told him that from now on, that could be considered an emergency and he could wake us up. Nice kid. He'll be getting married this August, 33 years after the TV trouble.

I'm finishing up the day with a small glass of Bombay Sapphire. 'Nite all!

My morning latte (Arabica free trade coffee + oat milk).
The oat milk keeps for ages without refrigeration, until it's opened, so we can stockpile it. Tastes just fine in a latte, though a little different to cows' milk.

You are a worldtraveller, KK! We stayed a few times at that Winery in Neumagen, that has a lovely wine-garden in the summer. It's about 2,5 hours drive from our house. Sometimes we make a trip along the Mosel; to Koblenz and back.

Neumagen and Nijmegen ( where I live) were both Roman towns/settlements 2000 years back and were both called Noviomagum(s). The owner of that winery in Neumagen was thrilled when we told her where we lived.

Well, it's a marvelous night for a Moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies

Happy Monday, everyone! It's a new dawn of a new day of a new week of a new month. Nu? Starting off with a mug of East India Company's Royal Breakfast tea and a plate of hummus, Kalamata olives, and warm pita bread. I have an appointment at the Bike Doctor this afternoon, to get the oil and filter changed after our ride. I think I may order some new electronics for the steed too... been thinking about a GPS Navigator... Don't 'need' it, but it might be fun...

DG, don't fret those tests! Everything will be just fine.

It should be fun. I haven't been back to Northern New England in more than 20 years, so besides the enjoyment of the wedding I'll be able to meet up with some old friends. And I'll borrow my son's motorcycle for a couple of days of touring the White, Green, and Adirondack Mountains once more. Not a lot of places on Earth that can match them for beautiful vistas.

I visit the Kwan Yin temples in every country I travel through, and carry a Kwan Yin metal (credit card size) card in my wallet. As I said, I need all the mercy I can get. To date, my favorite Kwan Yin temple to 'be in' is in Hong Kong, but my favorite to 'see' is right here in Kyoto. Soooo peaceful! Especially nice during Cherry Blossom Time, which is just about ..... now!

What's wrong with a Riesling? They're better than 'Golden Spur' or 'Thunderbird!'

Time for a second cup of tea... I think it needs to be a refill of the Royal Breakfast tea!
