It's time to remove the back cover and start playing with new firmware again.

Anyone know if Coredump is still around and want to give this firmware a try? Cheers |

So my suggestion: 1. use a newly formatted card for the flash 2. use an internal card that has not been partitioned for a2sd. As I said this may not work because I have not figure out why the flash works sometime but not others. Cheers |

The exclamation mark suggests issues with the firmware itself. Have you tried redownloading the firmware again?

I just re-flashed using the suggestions that hiaig posted and it worked right off.

But now do I have to re-install ie. Launcher pro and other apps? I replaced my 4gig internal and re-booted, got the new splash screen and then it went into the "ANDROID" screen and just blinks the "ANDROID" every two or three seconds. I'll try a re-flash and let you know. lglake |

Ok, I took the 4gig card(one fat32 partition, one ext3 partition for a2sd) out, replaced the clean 2gig (one fat32 partition) and it boots up all the way. Re-installed Launcher pro, I still get the stylized tree for the very first screen and then it goes into the Launcher pro home screen just fine.

I also re-installed ram-droid and check my memory after each app I re-install, I only use a few apps, I may not have to use a2sd. Let me know how you guys did with your re-flash. BTW did anybody re-flash the Repack img? Another question is where are the google apps in this upgrade? lglake |

In case anybody is looking at the calendar it is now June, 2011 and still no Froyo... I don't think that the IQ will ever see Honeycomb, so Froyo is not going to be irrelevant.... |

I got an email from Pocketbook about a month ago indicating they would not go beyond Android 2.1. So there will be no Froyo firmware update for the IQ.
