1. I awoke with out any aches or pains
2. I had a look at motorcycles (wife even came!)
3. Scored a short term contract (Big bonus!)

First ever blood tests for cholesterol, full blood count, PSA, SLE, etc. came back all good
Doctor said whatever we're eating and doing, keep it up
Doctor said I can probably look at maintaining my weight now rather than keep losing (lost 25kg in about 6 months. Will probably ease off at a couple kg more)

I had those same blood tests a year or so ago, not a great way to spend a week waiting for the results. Glad you're test came out well, congrats.

1 Again woke up.
2 Already finished the work for my short term contract! Wahoo!!!
3 Ready to spend the extra cash, hmm not sure thats a good thing???

I had the same blood tests and all came back fine, except for Vitamin D.
Had my bone-density and spinal X-Rays done today. (Will know next week)
Got another skin for second K3

Also got blood type.

Thanks, folks. The PSA was the scary one, not because I had any physical indications it would be, but because I lost my father and grandfather to prostate cancer, and my father's two brothers subsequently had to lose their prostates. Regardless of actual probabilities, it tends to make one worry.

I'm in the fresh air all the time, but I can't ride and take photos at the same time. I'm at risk of falling off without the addition of distraction.

But will take it out on the next walk.

Interesting, though, we don't have these tests as a routine in the UK (others may say otherwise) - Our GP Practice once tried WellMan clinics, but not many turned up, so they were discontinued.

Just PSA? Because that would not be surprising. I think that universal testing of PSA-DRE has yet to be proven effective at improving mortality (unlike, for instance, breast cancer screening), and so it is brought down to informed decision and possibility (symptoms and family history). I think here, however, if you're having the full battery of blood tests, some doctors might just bung PSA in anyway if you're over a certain age. I think it's meant to be done with a DRE, but perhaps doctors are using the convenience of simultaneous testing to filter for higher risks without universally DREing the lot.

The SLE test (lupus) was specifically done for me though as my sister an mother both have it. All the other tests were just general bloodwork and cholesterol.
