Congratulations. Flip the Frog's debut in "Fiddlesticks" was the first cartoon using two-strip Technicolor.

Flip was the brainchild of Ub Iwerks, created after leaving the Disney studios. He is also credited with creating Mickey Mouse, but the Disney studios dispute that claim.

Flip had a curious history, as his appearance changed from film to film. In Fiddlesticks, he was clearly a frog. In The Cuckoo Murder Case, he was as much a frog as Mickey was a mouse. In later cartoons, his appearance was very human.

God, I'm horrible at throwing something out. After looking through a portion of the thread, it seems to be a mix of both serious trivia and some riddle types. For trivia, I pass. But, I'll pose a riddle.

I am a rock group that has 4 members, all of whom are dead, one of which was assassinated. What am I?

The first film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice is somewhat notorious among Janeites for things like the insertion of a carriage race, and the major change of character given to Lady Catherine. And the costumes are from quite the wrong period.

According to one of the movie's stars, there was quite a practical reason for these non-period appropriate costumes. What was that reason?
