I don't like to do it that way cause I feel like I'm stealing someone else’s work. With my way others can right click on a picture and copy it in the URL address bar to go to the page that originally (maybe) hosted it.

So, did I do it the right way or the wrong way? I'm a little confused

Depends on who you ask. To me you did it right. I can follow your link back to Wedding Come True, read about what a wonderful site it is, buy products from their advertisers, and contribute to their success.

The right (Mods) way is to take their hard work as if it were your own. They, the original web site, gets no additional traffic to their web site, and they give up on their great dream. Then they jump out the window.

What the reasoning of the Mods is, is that the amount of time, and the number of times, that people reference the other website to retrieve the image may/will put a strain on the original web sites servers and therefore cost them more money. Also "It ain't polite."

I know in the past with my web site, I prefer the traffic to come through, someone grabbing my images just pisses me off, to be honest. So I agree with your method and will continue to do so. Cheers
