It does have it in reverse order. Personally, when I saw that change, I said "It's about time!" If you are using a tabbed browser in the first place, the reasonable assumption is that you will want to open a link in a new tab, and I never understood why it wasn't the default choice to begin with.

If you use keyboard shortcuts, Ctrl-N still opens a new window like it always has, and Ctrl-T still opens a new tab like it always has.

The default if you just click a link is new tab.

It took me about 30 minutes to adjust to the new order.

If it really bothers you, Devon Jensen and Nickolay Ponomarev's Menu Editor addon can be used to adjust things to your liking.

Calibre isn't really an editor. You can use Calibre to convert it from whatever it's in now to HTML, edit that in something like Kompozer (an open source HTML editor derived from Netscape Composer), then convert it back.

Though vampires having sex at all is a radical revision of the canon. Tumescence in a male, after all, requires a blood supply. Vampires are dead. No heartbeat, no flow of blood. Similar comments apply to the female of the vampire species. This tends to be glossed over in erotic vampire fiction. (The one halfway realistic take I encountered was a male vampire who could only have sex after feeding, with a fresh warm blood supply ingested.)

Bah, the hay fever-season has started. The last couple of days I thought I was getting a cold since I was feeling tired and I was a bit lightheaded. Today my throat started to hurt, I felt a bit lightheaded and my eyes also started to burn and I took an Ibuprofen, which usually helps great against throat aches. But it didn't today. Just to be sure I took an anti-hay fever pill and within a couple of hours the symptoms had either decreased or disappeared.

Tomorrow I need to get more pills and stock up on tissues because hay fever also means nosebleeds at the most inconvenient times.

What are the specs on the laptop?

FF 4 works fine on my desktop, and should work on the SO's older laptop once I install it. (FF 3.6 currently works fine now.)

I don't even try to run it on my old notebook under Ubuntu - FF 3.6 takes 45 seconds just to load, and is sluggish when up. FF 4 will not be an improvement. Opera and Google Chrome aren't all that much better. To the extent that I browse from it, I use Midori.

(That's not a knock on FF - it's an ancient machine from 2002, and I didn't expect current browsers to run well. They really want a CPU faster than 1ghz, a hard drive faster than UDMA4, and more than 256MB RAM. The miracle is that they run at all.)
