PocketBook 302 - Firmware update

How to update the firmware:

1. Extract the archive
2. Plug in your Device
3. Copy the .bin file to your SD-Card
4. Shut down the device
5. Boot the device, while booting hold both big buttons
6. Press Centerbutton, when asked for
7. Wait till device will start again (Otherwise reboot the device manually, or press the reset)

Could be that you have to reconfigure your Keys after update.

I cant take any influence on the waitingtime for the 302, sorry about that.

But ill be sure it will be soon and if the day is there, the firmwareupdate is posted here, if this isnt installed already ;-)

I'm told the devices will be shipping sometime next week, once everything makes it through customs. Or at least, my review unit will…

Seems to me that there will be no more firmware-updates for the PB302?
As off today the supportpage for the PB302 containing the link tot firmware 15.2 is gone.

Have they now TOTALLY abanboned the PB302?
That would be a new low, since they already shutdown some discussions regarding the PB302. Censorship????

This is about new firmware PB302.
So it is in place here.
People from PB do not react on the question when the so many times promised release of the new FW will take place.
Bad sign. Do they in Kiev realize that their salaries are payed by customers?

They don't even seem to have a single employee in Kiev able to address us in decent english.

What's your point? Their employees in Kiev are able to address their local customers fluently in ukrainian and russian and - what a surprise - their employees in Seattle seem to speak english fluently. Their sales manager europe (also a member of this forum) is speaking at least three languages fluently - including english.

US and European representatives have been continually used by the Kiev guys to issue promises on bugfixes and new versions that never came. Anything coming out of Kiev is always second or third hand, never direct. That's the point.

Maybe. But this is a entirely different point than their (english) language skills.
