Good morning, all! Happy 24th! Think about it... that only happens once a month! And only for one day! How special is that!

Yorkshire tea in my cup and a list of Honeydo's in my pocket. Lot's of shopping to do to get ready for our ride next week. It will be the first long motorcycle tour of the new year, and I can't wait!

The taste and freshness are reminiscent of the best Ceylons, but typically are sweeter in the cup

Although, I prefer Taylors of Harrogate's Pure Ceylon.

There is a Nilgiri on offer at one of the import shops I visit. I haven't tasted it as yet, having been too snobbish to purchase an unbranded tea from that shop, but I think it's time I did so!

Green tea!

I spent the whole day typing... I got a lot of work done, but I feel pretty nasty now. I'm going to eat some chocolate and watch Thundercats on Teletoon Retro now! Tomorrow, back to the drawing board. Might I add that I think my thesis is getting out of hand - I have over 300 pages written, and at this rate it will probably end up being close to 400 pages when I'm done. Just reading through it later to do corrections will be a terrible, terrible hassle. I am totally regretting not choosing a different topic now (not that I haven't enjoyed the work, but I really could have picked something that required a lot less work and man hours). Sorry for the vent, I just had to get that out. I'd really like a cigarette right now! (I quit several years ago, but I will have a butt - yes, I said butt - when I'm particularly stressed out).

But I'll have tea instead. Because I need to loose weight not gain it... bah humbug....

Well, at least the tea is good. Taylors of Harrogate's English Breakfast tea in a really big mug... and one square of 80% chocolate just to mellow my coco craving...

Wow, that's a LOT of pages ... When I was writing my thesis, my promoter told me I could write 200 pages at most. I had 350 and was forced to edit large parts of my text.

She didn't like Bombay (Surprise! Surprise! Maybe the first time she didn't like something that is supposed to be healthy

Two teaspoons of molasses, 3 shakes of cayenne pepper and 2 squirts of lemon juice in a mug of boiling water. A bit spicy, fruity and odd but I like it.

Black flies are the National Bird of Canada. There, they don't squirt them with bug spray, they shoot them with shotguns! Nasty bugs! I can remember some canoe trips into the 'Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness' where the Black Flies were so thick, you HAD to use head nets just to be able to breath without inhaling them! We had to cover ourselves with 100% Deet repellent as anything less wouldn't keep them away.

hmmm My Dissertation was 175 pages. Then again, my advisor had to remind me to write a conclusion and had to tell me that it needed to be more then two paragraphs long....
