Thanks for the replies, not what I wanted to hear but at least now I know. Unfortunately, for this book, PDF is the only choice.

Unfortunately no, but it is high on our list to add to Bluefire Reader

Yes, let us hope.

***Observe the iphone 4 is now frozen and requires a hard reset to recover from this.
I am at work or I would re-install the software and try and get you a log from the device from Organizer in xcode but don't have time. Hopefully this information helps. I will reproduce and capture a log if you are still unable to reproduce let me know. I develop iphone apps so I am familiar with the development environment.

Below are my software and hardware information to aid in reproducing this issue:

iPhone 4.2.1 ( 8C148 )
Firmware: 02.10.04
Carrier: AT&T 9.0
Model: MC610LL
Cydia Packages Installed:
APR, APT 0.7, APT 0.8 strict(lib),Base Structure, BigBoss's source, Bourne-Again Shell, bzip2, Core Utilities (/bin), Cydia Community Sources, Cydia Installer, Darwin Tools, Debian Packager, Dev-Team, Diff Utilities, diskdev-cmds, Find Utilities, GNU Privacy Guard, grep, gzip, libxml2 Library, LZMA utils, Mobile Substrate, ModMyi.com, My3G, New Curses, OpenSSH, OpenSSL, PAM, PAM Modules, pcre, PreferenceLoader, Profile Directory, readline, Saurik's Source, sed, shell-cmds, SQLite 3.x Library, system-cmds, Tape Archive, TetherMe, ThetherMe APN Editing, TetherMe Preferences, UIKit Tools, ZodTTD's Sources.
------
Cydia Packages beyond the default that I installed that may be to blame:
OpenSSH, TetherMe, My3g ---> I would first try installing those and then testing to see if you see the issues. Both tetherme and my3g however are paid apps, so perhaps start with just OpenSSH as an additional install to reproduce.
----
Thanks much for the info!

FYI, Android version hit feature complete about a week ago. Just QE to do now. It has taken longer than we hoped, but did not want to ship anything other than great.

Well, since this seems to be a well read thread, thought I'd give my try here. I have an iPad 1 and just downloaded Bluefire. I plan to give it a whirl for library books maybe though I find Overdrive being optimized is just fine for that. But I did just for the first time make an in app purchase through one of the vendors, but the purchased book is not showing up in my library. I've written both to books a million and to Bluefire to see who can tell me what isn't correct. My books a million account tells me the book has been added to my library, but when I go to Bluefire, it most certainly is not there. I have my Adobe ID authorized. So how do I get the book to my library? Shouldn't it have seamlessly worked all within the iPad itself?

I don't suppose you'll follow up with a Windows Phone 7 app?

The ipad app would be perfect, if only it allowed for left-handed taps to turn pages.

FWIW
I downloaded the actual BAM app itself too, logged back into the Books a Million account, went to the full site (not mobile site) on my iPad, hit download, and it downloaded my book into the BAM Reader. So it's not in the Bluefire App, but it is in the BAM reader app which is by Bluefire anyway. I'm just glad to have the book on my device now.

I'm left-handed so I definitely agree with the need to allow for left-handed taps to turn pages.

It won't be perfect for me though until it has dictionary support and two-column landscape view. Both of these are deal killers for me as the iPad screen is too large to read in single column landscape and I hate using it portrait. Without a dictionary it is hamstrung, regardless of what the lesser educated people might think. Some of us do some serious, scholarly reading and no dictionary equals no usage.

Otherwise the app is really coming along and has a lot of functionality. It really needs more font selection too, though.

Or the option of columns in landscape. I, on the other hand, prefer the single wide page, because i must use the extra large fonts. With the full width, it gives me more than 2 or 3 words per line.

Of course the OPTION rather than force one view or another.

A couple of useful features would be hyphenation and a dictionary.

Oh yeah, I didn't catch the lack of hyphenation. That will be very critical for large text viewing or for two-column landscape view. Otherwise you wind up with way to much space between words on some lines.
