Today is supposed to be as hot and sunny as yesterday. YAY!! We spent a lot of time on the back deck, then went to the walking track at the park. Everything is in full bloom, except for the dogwoods, which are just starting to bloom. This is what retirement is supposed to be!

We are still quite young for retirement. I'm 48' he is 55. But we had the early retirement goal, and planned for it. Then, over the course of 2006 to 2009, i lost most of my eyesight. Luckily we had enough time with the same organization for our full pensions. So now for the first time in our lives, we are free to travel and enjoy.

I had to get used to the idea of having a man at home the whole day; but now I see the avantages of it. And we're going for 4 weeks to Iran, by the end of next month, to begin with.

Nice!! Early retirement, my mother did thet 7 years ago she was 50 and is super happy.
I still have to work for many years...
