As you said, it's a very good idea for the protection of the ereader. It also has the added bonus that if you choose the slip-cover of a bad film, your ereader won't get stolen if your house is burgled.

I have the Grichel cover stretched over a Barnes and Noble Industriell Cover.

I will warn you that it was not inexpensive.
