i found a language patch on your page
Patch for /script/core/lang/German.js

What shall i do with this file (German.js.patch) ????
i dont found a folder "script" on my reader

the same. also in PRSP_650_2.0.10alpha_Installer.zip is no language folder.

not on my reader, not on my sd-card and also not in the downloaded setup or update file

Thanks, I'll read through that and see if it's worth doing. What I've been doing in the meantime is just using the author's name as the only tag for each book and then Collections lists only each author name, and under that the books were in alpha order.

I hated the 50 tags that are downloaded with each title anyway, so it worked great. But now with PRS+, Collections is pretty much identical to Browse Folders. However I still hate the tags assigned on download so will probably keep the system.

The fastest way to get a full list of books by author/title is to go to Calibre Preferences - Plugins - Device Interface - Sony - Customise and add the following to the Collections box (i.e. the one labelled 'Comma separated list of metadata fields...'):

This is one of two Calibre 'special' Sony Collections. The other is (no prizes for guessing what this one does)

The % char in %All by Author just makes sure that the Collection appears on page 1 of your Collection list.

Can't you just remove the word tags from the Collections box described above to achieve this?

This zip is obviously the update file, the origianl is an *.exe

I'm no technician, but I think the german.js is used during the installation to the reader program that is in flash. In 300 you can replace german.js in the installation.zip, but the 650 installation file is an exe.

I just checked and I still have 1.1.2rc on my 505. The new stuff looks great but I think I'll wait until the selectable screensaver is implemented.

If you don't like the tags, don't download them. Go to Preferences - Plugins - Metadata download plugins - customize each plugin and uncheck download tags.

Jackie_w is correct, you can remove tags from the Sony device interface plugin for creating collections. If you like collections based on author just place author_sort where tags was in the plugin.

There is no user friendly way to patch files, including language files.

- i found some bugs, shall i post it here? or better on your google-page?
- game -> chess: is it possible to change the level of difficulty? it not very diffucult to win vs the reader... (scholar's mate)
