For me iOS (it is inefficient, cannot be customized, no widgets) and iTunes are the big drawbacks of the iPad. The hardware of the iPad2 is very nice. Lighter than the Xoom, much thinner, it looks better, and colors look better. Now if some friendly hacker managed to get full fledged Honeycomb running on this baby I might actually buy one...

You could solve those with a few add-on dongles. Not a bad idea to have these separate if it cuts down on overall size -- after all this may not be stuff you need every day, HDMI and USB, at least. The SD card perhaps. But 64GB "should" be enough. Actually I was expecting Apple to offer 32/64/128GB this time. Cheapened out again, I guess.

Take a bit of saving up but really want it, The thing that was holding me back on the pad was that it doesn't support flash

Apparently Flash 10.2 for the Xoom has been leaked on XDA-developers.com, in the Xoom sub-forum. If some of you check it out, we expect full report, of course!

And don't you see lunacy of this, so inorder to do what a Android tablet can by simpley putting your card (at no extra cost I might add) into the slot, you have to go retreive all your gadgets and toggle them up . are you not seeing this? slip card into slot or hook up camera connection( which costs you extra money to have) to your camera and send it to iTunes and then you are in business or slip it into the sd card slot. am I missing something here? ![]() |

Hey Kenny how's the Xoom been working out for you? You got flash coming this week, that's good news.
Just waiting for after tax season then I'm taking the plunge. Just watched a Samsung promo youtube video, it really could have been the xoom just as easy, but it just really showed off Honeycomb. I can not wait to get my Xoom. |
