	Hardware doesn't matter except the eInk screen itself. To use more that 4 colors it requires several screen updates. So it's at least twice slower. It's a technology limitation: single screen update can display only 4 different colors. About speed guys have asked me already. Pro series has a new quicker way to display pages. But without SDK I cannot use it and it's noticeable. So do you think the speed is not important? Yes, it'll take a bunch of time to implement that. Because rendering deals with the screenbuffer itself. And format of the buffer directly depends on used mode.  |
