eh? o.o i meant her hair...the ends were getting a bit split, i believe

hmm so while adding books on my shelf on goodreads, i kind of wanted to add the books i had read when i was young (like nancy drew and sabrina, lol!), but i already forgot how far along the series i was. our elementary school library had the beautiful, hard-cover nancy drew books nice and yellow with beautiful cover art i remember reading in Chinese class

i'm not sure if the current nancy drew books are being written by various people now? wonder if the quality is still the same, hmm...or maybe i just wasn't as discerning when i was a child, but i did enjoy the original series a lot.

I loved the original Nancy Drews, my library had the yellow ones, too. I didn't like the more modern ones, though.
Lots of people have been Carolyn Keene over the years, including Susan Wittig Albert, who writes the China Bayles mysteries.

ah, ghostwriters sometimes i kind of wish that the original authors don't let others play with their characters. i don't know; i tend to get possessive with my own characters as well, not that i'd ever try to self-publish need to practice more.

ah, i've never picked up the modern ones i see at my local bookstores.
