Seriousness Three good things that happened today - Page 20

I had a really difficult day on many levels. So here are my three good things:

1) I have a planned meeting tomorrow to "fix" some of the issues that have been going on at work. I'm looking forward to clearing the air. (I got it scheduled today, that's why I'm including this!)

2) I received a lovely compliment on my professional skills... actually a few lovely compliments! Sometimes, that's what I need to keep me going.

3) I was able to accomplish something at work that hadn't been accomplished by anyone before.

huh, they're all about work, aren't they? Maybe because the things that happened at home weren't so great. But I am still thankful for what I have. I could be much, much, much worse...

1. I managed to get to work without falling. (bicycle, baaaaad streets today)
2. It has (once again) stopped snowing
3. I survived the first few hours at work and there is enough left of the day to have something REALLY nice happen.

1. Today is breakfast burrito day at work!
2. Slept a bit better than the last few nights.
3. Moving ahead with my plan to get a jump on daylight savings time that is coming this weekend.

1. I made it through my first big outing last night since the surgery -- a 3 hour Spanish class -- with flying colors.
2. My vegetable delivery is today.
3. The rain seems to be over and the birds are singing like crazy this morning!

1. Laughed out loud about some ingenious thoughts about friday and poetry
2. For me, today it's friday in the German meaning of the word - Freitag = a free day - don't have to go to work.
3. Got a nice phone call.
