The strange thing, to me, are the urban flooding warnings. We are in a hilly part of the state. The Cahaba River warning is for a densely populted area, where the advisory predicted the river to crest 17 feet. I'm not sure that I know what that means exactly?

Stranger, you will need galoshes - it is a lot of wet coming your way!

Absolutely no pain in bad tooth today. OTOH I am exhausted after undergoing 1-1/2 hours of drilling - feel like I ran a marathon and was then hit by a truck.

I was just outside for a late lunch with the Lady and the wind is really going. Its not terribly dark yet. I've seen some shower bands that look like they've floated over Chapel Hill and Durham, but we've not had any rain yet in RTP.
