That are very good secundary work-conditions, or are they trying to devellop your backbone, by being able to walk along these goodies and and not grabbing a handful?

In my cup: cold Arabica-coffee, which I need as I'm doing very very boring work.

Hey, I hadn't thought about that yet. Everyone on our floor is a researcher, maybe one of them decided to conduct a little experiment

That would be an interesting experiment; have you checked if you're observed by a eeny, meeny, tiny camera above those chocolates.

Yes, still doing my excell-sheet. Soon on to more exciting things, like writing up my research, at which I'm stuck a bit. I do all to get away from it.

Working on pot 1 of Rooibos Winter Magic. About to steep pot two. Bummed that I am out of candles for my cast iron tea pot warmer. (sigh)

I used to work in a place where you lunch was considered free game if it was in the fridge, I solved that problem with a little ground up laxative in the tuna sandwich. I know pretty fast which colleague was enjoying my lunch, never had an issue after that.

Black coffee in the cup, I may have to make it Irish

That happens here sometimes. Every once in a while, someone sends an email to everyone saying there was a sandwich in the fridge and now it's gone. I like your solution, that'll teach the thief

we solved that in one military unit I was in with hash brownies

First pot of Mariage Frères Thé vert au Sahara, green tea with mint and rose petals. My tongue is twisting in orgasmic convulsions. This is so subtle and yet you can not only smell but also taste the roses. The mint is softly giving it a fresh tinge without becoming too obvious.

Made a date for next Thursday to test their Blue Teas = Oolongs only. Will have to find either a rich husband or a bank without alarm system before.
