Just finished "Shakespeare's Will" by Meredith Whitford one of my RAEBW freebies from BeWrite books, loved it. Can't wait to start "Treason" by the same author.

I'm looking for an e-book

Is "The next decade" by George Friedman available somewhere in this site?

I enjoyed Shakespeare's Will immensely, but think Treason is more powerful; I too look forward to reading more of this Australian author's fine work.

Welcome to the MobileRead lozanmb.

Whilst the book that you asked about is not available, you might find something else that interests you!

You can search for books, by title or author, using the Advanced Search option, in the drop-down menu entitled Search, on the blue bar located under the MobileRead logo.

On the Advanced Search page, in the section headed Search Forums, go to the box entitled Search in Forum(s), then scroll down, and under the item E-Book Upload - Patricia Clark Memorial Library, which is highlighted in white, select your preferred e-book format. Type the book's title, or author's name, in the box entitled Search by Keyword: Keywords(s). Finally, click on the Search Now button, at the bottom of the section.

Seems I haven't been around much lately, and I don't think I've mentioned several of the last books I've read on here, but you can always find them on my blog. I did want to post about "Vestal Virgin," a book by our very own Suzanne Tyrpak. It was a great read, definitely recommended!

I've got them on my TBR pile - I've just finished Day of the Triffids - an excellent read, and different to the TV series.

I've started a BeWrite book - The Ballad of Johnny Madigan by John Bray. A very descriptive writer; the story (so far) is of a 16 year old enlisting as a Union soldier in the Civil War.

I'm reading Brandon Sanderson's "Warbreaker". Really good (as I expected - I've been saving it for a stressful time, and so far it's not disappointing.)

I think I'm going to have to add both Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn to my TBR pile. Reading Twain's autobiography makes me realize how little I have read of his. I think I may have missed something.

Classics for a reason. And I don't love all the classics, but his are awesome.

Drove up to Gainesville to pick up my son at UF for spring break. It's 4 hours in the car so I decided to listen to _Red Mars_ by Kim Stanley Robinson, an audio book I picked up from Audible quite a while ago.

I've gotta say, it is quite a slow start. Not at all what I expected. Seems like a lot of politics and blah blah background, etc.

I'm not sure if I should give it a bit longer. I listened to the first two hours.

there's a reason why some books are free.
sometimes you find something good but it doesn't happen often.
