Bought a book the other day and applied the code ....but message came back that the code could not be applied to books from that publisher. Thats OK.... but there was no indication that would happen. Could Kobo please indicate in the blurb for books that discount codes do not apply for that particular book so I can decide whether or not I want to proceed with the purchase?

Generally, it's the books with two prices shown that codes work on. (Regular price and discount price).

Either way, it's easy to APPLY the code before purchase to determine if a code will work.
