OK, I've got to do my chores...

The Pony Express was in operation for just 18 months and used 400+ horses.

(As a young teenager, I always wished I could have been a pony express rider... Like Minever Cheevy, I was just born too late.)

Stockholm Syndrome comes to mind because of the name, but I don't know the history.

You are correct! Olsson was a bank robber, who took hostages during a robbery. At his trial, his hostages defended him, and some of the women corresponded with him after he was convicted and in prison.
