well, i don't know if it's true, but there used to be a running joke here that cats were used as fillings in siopao(s) (erm that's a pork bun in the States, i think. i dunno what you guys call it). the joke is because there are tons of cats and other animals in chinatown

(before someone gets offended by a joke).

of course, there really are some people who have eaten dogs.

I know what a siopao is, but I can't think of anything comparable here in the U.S. Cat filling is better than most of the artificial stuff we use as filling in our foods.

it's just a joke, though some of the siopaos in Chinatown look very questionable indeed

but don't the dimsum in your Chinatown also taste good?
