we had a wild weekend of snow, rain and snow mixed, high winds, etc. today is proving schizophrenic in its own way, it has been alternately sunny and cloudy, however cold. even 'droid is confused, says it is foggy and 30, but doesn't know where it is, just says; "current location"

I got an incubator light for chickens and put it in my pump house, thawed my frozen pipes!

Fog and cold and water and yuck all day. I strongly expect tomorrow's weather to be better.

another frosty morning, looks to be another early spring day now March has arrived.

It's also very noticeable how quickly it is getting light in the mornings - it's almost light enough to be able to read by 6am .....

First day of autumn here (yes, yes, I'm not interested in the equinox stuff) and we had a lovely, sunny 32C day, good for a bike ride (on which I may have overdone it at one point) followed by a swim in the pool. Could be showers/rain/storms the rest of the week though.

It was pretty hot here too! Sweated it out in the gym this morning.
I knew there was a reason I couldn't get the cat to go out today. Bring on that high pressure and cooler Autumn days.

I like the mildness of autumn and winter here but I really do love summer most of all. But then I'm a water-baby, happiest in the pool and especially the surf.

There is a man out the back right now quoting on a solar panel system.
Won't be long and we will say goodbye to electrickery bills.
