I have a little niece, she's only 2 and sometimes I don't want her to grow up so soon

@ desertblues: no worries, I'm not that workaholic or study-holic. I just seriously study when it's time, and hang out all other time

@ Stitchawl: I'm trying to be mature, but that's harder than I thought. People always say I'm still naive. And did you really mean 'While the little ones are cute and fun, the big ones are even more fun'??

@ latinandgreek: go dye your hair before discover the 2nd one!

Brewing my second tea pot for today I thought about getting an electric samowar. Is it a stupid idea to buy one for a single person or is it wise considered I drink about 3 or 4 litres of tea per day?

Maturity is highly overrated. I am lucky, I have ADHD so I seem to get away with being a highly paid goofball at work. Well, sometimes. Then there are times that I am deemed a distraction and get a talking to. That kind of sucks, until they tell me that I can listen to my favorite tv shows online because they help me ignore the distractions around me.

Then again, they keep me because I do really good work and they know that I am an asset to the team.

beppe: I love little kids. I love kids of all ages but the really young ones are so special. Everything is new to them. It is wonderful watching them explore and discover the world. Soak up this time because it is just so special.

Maturity. I have been fighting this issue all my life. Maturity to me means a rotten apple that falls from the three. Keep it up, keep doing the good work. I keep being fresh. Responsibility, yeah, strength, sure, truthfulness, of course. Fresh.

Kids. They are just the purest joy.And a lot of trouble, but that who cares if they are in good health. She'll be 4 soon, maybe 2 or 3 years to go in that magic mood. and if I am lucky 8 or 9 in the human race.
Now every evening she pulls a seat to where I am cooking and helps me. She asks me Cosa facciamo, what do we do? I get the eyes full by that. And I loose myself in that mist.

A little glass of red vermouth. Why not. No better not. what's the point.

I love the desert. Have seen and walked in them in the USA, Moroc, Jordania, Syria and Chile.

Do not feel bad about it, Poppaea. It is not your fault. I have never put up a photo of Little Daughter on the net. And I do not think I will ever do, really. So do excuse me if I did or say something that might have made you think this.

When they say that she is cute it is maybe that they feel her cuteness spilling over from my words. She is cute. And I am quite taken by her.

I prefer Coke light - unless it's with rum - it seems less sweet and somehow "thinner". Always as cold as possible and preferably in a bottle.

Happy Monday, everyone! Heavy rain this morning... I saw a procession of various animals, walking in pairs, heading for the marina.... I'm glad that we had such beautiful spring-like weather yesterday. I even noticed the very, very tiny beginnings of buds on the cherry trees. It won't be too long before all of Japan turns pink and white with their blossoms.

For now, my tankard is filled with Twining's Prince of Wales tea, which is sufficient company to a bowl of rice and tsukemono. I have an appointment with my mechanic to day to install an alarm system on my bike, getting it ready for a season of long distance touring.

Tao Ti Pineapple juice drink with nata de coco....basically pineapple juice with bits of jelly - quite nice. Has also tried the lychee and lemon flavours.

Will follow that with a cup of Luk Yu Pu-erh Tea.

(I also love Coke Zero - also like Cream Soda Zero!)

Nespresso for me this morning. My mother had a birthday party last night, and I drank a little too much wine. So I'm trying to fight off the hangover with coffee. So far it's not working.

My dad gave my mom a sony PRS-650 for her birthday, and us kids gave her an Oberon cover to go with it. She was extatic
