BUT, I never had problems after that And the neighbors are actually nice, and getting nicer with their German progressing.

You probably did not only yourself and other neighbors, but him and his family a favor. It takes no more effort, and is actually more comfortable to have the sound directly in your ears instead of making the TV louder. I like having my windows open, but just the sound of the wind blowing outside makes it so I need the volume louder, and I don't live in a loud or windy place.

I've worked in bars forever and know I have some hearing loss, but I can't stand loud noises at home. I always said some of the best neighbors are people that work in bars because the last thing we want to hear at home, is anything loud like what we have to hear at work.

I hate and loathe those heads. putting in telephone switches, those heads have become more and more common. I have worn out SO MANY drivers on those damn heads! give me good ol' self tapping sheet metal screws any day!

Plus you need several different drivers for the different size screws. Your tool bag gets heavy fast.

90% of the time you can get by with just the small green and large red drivers; it was ages before I discovered the tiny yellow and the huge black sizes. I have no idea what the fifth size is...

And adding another screwdriver to my toolbox is sort of like adding another ebook to my ereader - negligible added weight

Well, that's the great thing about this kind is that you can get any type of earphone with a 3.5 jack and it'll fit perfectly. Sometimes I don't want the sound isolated, so I'll wear reg. earbuds that don't seal. I prefer the lightness of buds, but that's just a personal preference; it doesn't alter how well the small receiver works.

I like the Jabra BT3030. It has a clip or lanyard and kind of looks cool too or the Jabra Clipper, which is their newest and it's cheaper.

Orange (#00) No. 1 & 2
Yellow (#0) No. 3 & 4
Green (#1) No. 5, 6 & 7
Red (#2) No. 8, 9 & 10
Black (#3) No. 12 and larger


If you strip out a drive/bit, they aren't really that expensive to replace, buy Craftsman or Mastercraft and the replacements are free (I think they still are).

The grips are different colour so you can find the correct screwdriver when you need it, or so you can match your boilersuit

The BT3030 does look cool....and you say it works well? No skipping when playing music? It does have all the controls I want, and it looks discreet which I like. Plus it allows me to switch out earbuds for ones that are comfortable, as you said. I think we may have a winner!
