Still, a lot of people who read his works buy his paper backs and donate them to libraries. So they are willing to pay for his work, even if they don't want a physical copy. As far as the percentage of his readers that do that, well, who knows.

Or buying them as gifts. He has also said that he will adopt the business model to what works.

free everything. you know, i read a suggestion from one of the employees at reader's digest about the world today, and he said that it would be great if a new form of economy that mixed the best of capitalism and marxism arose.

Well that is a bizarre idea, since Marxism is an ideology that purports capitalism is a historical stage that the world must go through en route to capitalism. If he meant capitalism and socialism, well, most nations are a mix of capitalism and socialism.
