Android 3.0 in with pocketbook IQ 701?
As simple as that. Will we be able to use the new Android 3.0 in our IQ 701?
Isn´t it suposed to be designed for tablets?

It is designed for tablets...
...that meet Google's specification.
The GUI shown so far seems to rely strongly on multitouch capacitance screen so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for 3.0 on IQ. I suspect 2.2 is the upper limit, if and when it appears.
Given the nature of the IQ that is hardly an issue.

And that leads to...does anyone think that they will actually update the firmware to 2.2? I'm losing faith in the promise of this actually happening. Am I the only one getting frustrated with this? I'm sure I'm not.

I just wish I could run stuff from my sd card.
Can't install any games hardly at all.
I tried the rewrite found in this forum, but it won't install. I keep getting the triangle of death.

have you tried the a2sd fix (either though Coredump-EE repack or the unofficial a2sd flash)?

Yeah i've messed with it for a while and just gave up. Thought............I'm already running LauncherPro +................maybe that has something to do with it.

if you don't care for android market, just flash coredump-EE repack then flash the unofficial a2sd (may be 2x) and you're set.
