No question about it. I use tea-pot size tea bags, not cup-size. These are made to hold several spoon-fulls of tea at one time. All my tea experiments and my normal drinking habits are done using these same ones.

Don't you think it releases too much of it flavour over 2 minutes in a hot water?

I am really looking forward to attending the masterclass in London. I am going to question them about Pu-Erh because they are the Chinese teas specialists 1 of the 7 teas they demonstrate is Pu-Erh.

P.S. btw., I am not sure 1 tuocha is designed for 1L of water. I think it is too much.

P.P.S. maybe the combination of too much water and 2 minutes rinsing steal some flavour, making the tea too bland?
(I am just talking to myself, thinking about it )

What do you think about The East India Company's Ceylon teas?
There are so many of them. I thought it might a good idea to try them, so I put 7 on the list. I think there were more, but some of them are more expensive.

It's possible. Tomorrow I'll try for just a 30 second rinse as you suggest. I was following the method suggested by "Tea" magazine.

Tomorrow I'll use two for an experiment. But if one toucha can be re-steeped several times, than I think using one liter of water at one time shouldn't cause any problem. Again, I try tomorrow and see. There are still two more in the sample bag.

I like them. I haven't had any in a while as I haven't seen them here recently. Right now I have Fortnum & Mason and NBT Ceylons that are both wonderful, and some Williamson's Ceylon that isn't.

As I suspected a tea I make in the office doesn't taste as good.

The modern, well adjusted person must always be a mix of masculine and feminine. The Tao teaches us that in order to be complete and in harmony with the universe, there must be both black and white, each being a compliment of the other. Within the Black there must be a touch of white. Within the White there must be a touch of black. Black, white, male, female, good, evil, yes, no, up, down... So to answer your question; Is beppe male or female? The answer can only be ... yes.

I hope that clears up the issue for you.

That makes a HUGE difference. I broke my brita a while ago and had to drink tea made with tapwater. It tastes horrible. And then you also get that yucky brown ring on the inside of your mug. Luckily we have a brita system at work as well.
