although, if it was as smooth a transition as in Orlando, I would not have minded, when I was around 35, to have a go to see how it is on the other side. A fact is certain, that I like that particular gender very much, but very very much.

:whisstle:It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty, delta day
I was out choppin' cotton and my brother was balin' hay
And at dinner time we stopped and walked back to the house to eat
And Mama hollered out the back door, "Y'all remember to wipe your feet"
Then she said, "I got some news this mornin' from Choctaw Ridge
Today Billie Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallahatchee Bridge"

Running fast this morning. Off to the hospital for a follow-up blood test to see if I actually did reduce my cholesterol numbers. I know I did drop a full kilo since my last appointment so the doctor should be happy about that. I'm tanking up on Yorkshire tea so I won't have any trouble with that part of the test...

Actually, just a few miles from there. We used to go the the Flushing Meadows park area often. We would go to Corona only for great Italian food, and for even better Italian Water Ices during the summer! Delicious!

And now one more cup of Yorkshire tea and off to the hospitable hospital!

I'm trying NBT's Pu-erh #3. This one is a toucha. Very mild tasting drink with dirt overtones. If it had some tea overtones I'd probably like it better. As it is, it will make a wonderful dye for an old T-shirt I need to turn a bit tan...

True... My barber used to charge me double. It was one of the motivators to buy my own clipper.

I just figured out how to find out nbtea's numbers/names.
If you add a tea to a shopping basket, then go to the basket you see the name of the tea and its number

If you don't like their black Tuocha, Pu-Erh is surely not your cup of tea. Then again, Pu-Erh is not like a normal tea, just like Mate, Rooibos and Lapacho are not.
How do you steep this tuocha?
When I did it first time it made me drunk. I rinsed tuocha for 30 seconds. Then I infused it for 3 minutes in 600ml of water. The resulting bouquet was very powerful.
Washing tuocha is important I think.

A cup of Taylors of Harrogate's Tea Room blend.

Very clever! Karma for your troubles!

Pu-erh is most definitly NOT my cup of tea! It's an interesting drink, but not what I want when I want tea.

I followed a method I read in "TEA" magazine; I put the toucha into a small cup and added boiling water. I waited two minutes, stirred the remains, then poured off the water. I put the tea into a large tea bag, put that into my tankard, and added 90° water, let it steep for five minutes, removed the tea bag, and gagged on the tea. Well... OK... I didn't gag. But it was nothing that I would write home about. I even finished the mug rather than throwing it away. But now I've made myself a cup of 'China Black' from McNulteys, and I'm a very happy camper!

I have read about washing tuocha on different websites but noone said to do it for 2 minutes. 30 seconds top. Some suggested twice. 10 seconds, then 20 seconds. Not many sources suggest to do with 90°, but that's how I do it because Tea House Emporium said so and I found out that the tea tastes better with 90° than if you steep it in with boiling water.
How big is your tankard?
Do you think the tea bag was big enough for a whole tuocha?

It might be some residual sleep deprivation.

But do not worry. It will pass. And it is not that important. On forums like this with nicknames and avatars, gender might be considered a volatile attribute. It is a possible entry in Personal Page, About Me. Nothing more, with 3 cases, zilch, M or F, that's the order they put in the drop down, and it is not in alphabetic order, blast.

Personally, my virtual self can be anything my friends want me to be.
In real world (although the virtual is very real in itself), the irrelevance of gender in general in the aspects of life is an issue that I share with most of my real life friends, and few virtual friends. In personal interactions (what E. M. Forster calls intercourse, while what we call intercourse he refers to as sharing, why E.M. Forster? But this is what we should be discussing in the book of the month if the pilot would just open the thread, let's hope he is OK)? This issue is too personal to me, so I draw the privacy line right here.

Is my spiel confused/confusing enough?
I was imitating one of my mothers in law, and it is one of the modes i can operate by default.
