First let me rave a bit about this Ceylon Dimbula tea from NBT. It is, in a word, delicious! It is full, well-rounded flavor which in itself is rare for a Ceylon, but on top of that, is is extremely smooth. Absolutely no tannic taste as tall, but strong enough to suit my needs. If the second cup is as rewarding as the first, this is certainly a tea that I will re-order in a large amount.

Both of them went to my high school. They were four years ahead of me, but still came back to play at the school dances under their first stage name; 'Tom and Jerry.' They were still playing Rock and Roll in those days. Eddy Simon, Paul's younger brother was my lab partner in Earth Science class, and we used to go over to his house after school to listen to Paul and Art practice.

"along with foods".... Strong tasting foods, such as the garlic crisp bread and humus that I'm eating right now, would overshadow a weaker tea. China Black can stand up to it well though. I doubt the 'Georgian Old Gentelman' would.
I think I know what you mean. There is something about Keemun that I wanted to drink it with my morning toasts and still feel the flavour. It was unusual and very pleasant. Others teas were overpowered by food flavour.

Aaaah. For the life of me, I don't understand it.
I cannot relax/enjoy and in general cannot stand when strangers touch me.
I never go for any massages, even when I was on holidays in some resorts where I could get them for free.
I never let hairdressers to wash my hairs. I don't like it when they touch my head and hair. I do only dry haircut.
For some reason I cannot relax and enjoy it. The whole massage culture is alien to me.

I have created a list of teas I think I might want to buy in Fortnum&Mason and East India Company (they have a very long list of Ceylon teas). It was fun creating the list.
I might post it later

How/when did you become a Teaist?

@to All.
I have been told off. My wife spends only 10 minutes for make up in the morning. The other 20 minutes are spent on facial exercises. You know...that kind that makes you wonder whether I have got a restive horse in the next room judging by the noise coming out of it

I've had really long, really short and in-between length hair. You have to have the right face to pull of really short hair. It's not for me I think I would be one of those people with a weirdly shaped head.Although it's really easy in the mornings.

I also hate it when strangers touch me. I can't stand it when someone sits next to me on the bus and is pressed against me. I loathe people who touch my arm every 5 seconds when they're talking to me. But hairdressers and massagists are the exception. I think because I've made a conscious decision to let them touch me ? Maybe it's also because the salon I go to has two or three hairdressers, who I know by now.
(let me also make clear that people I do know are allowed to touch me. Touching is sometimes even encouraged )

Cup of green tea jasmine to go with my lunch.

Thinking back, I would guess I was in my early 30's. Perhaps 30,31 or 32. I always liked tea, ever since childhood, but until that time only drank it on occasion, except when backpacking, when it was my primary beverage. But somewhere around that time, someone introduced me to Twinings Prince of Wales. As Robert Frost said; 'And that made all the difference.'

I began drinking other Twining teas, especially English Breakfast, Prince of Wales, and Ceylon. Then someone bought me a package of loose leaf Prince of Wales, and I can remember how astonished I was at the difference between commercially made tea bags and the loose leaf teas. I went out and replaced all my tea bags with loose teas. I started drinking several mugs a day, almost making a ritual out of it.

I began looking at other tea merchants and trying their teas. Some from here. Some from there. That was more than 30 years ago. I haven't slowed down very much since that time. I've just narrowed my playing field to the black and oolong teas. Since moving to Asia I've found it easier to find other teas on market shelves (as compared with shopping in the US) but I buy my standards by mail order anyway.

I no longer ritualize my tea making/drinking. I'm not a connoisseur drinking only out of 6oz. white china cups that have been pre-heated. I guzzle the stuff. About a gallon a day. But these days I only guzzle the good stuff!

I think they have the most amazing harmonies, and Paul Simon alone is one of my favorite songwriter/singers ever. He re-invents himself every few years, even now. I listen to his music often, from all the eras, although I do have a particular fondness for the "Graceland" period. I love African rhythms. Did you have an idea even then that their music was something special, or were they just two among many?

I think the Graceland album was one of the finest collections of modern music made. Unfortunately, it was met by waaaay too much political nonsense and never got the recognition it deserved.

We knew they were good, but we never suspected just HOW good! At they time, they were just local rock 'n rollers and famous for their one hit tune we listened to on the radio and on our 45's. I was paying more attention to Rosie, (actually 'Rose,') she lived around the corner from me, and her friend Celia. They were three-four years older than me,(and never really was 'the queen of Corona,') which as a young 14 was a lifetime away, but I could fantasize as well as anyone! Rose was a real hottie.

No, she looks to have a slightly fuller face than what you put out. All shaved is too much. Just one inch or even half an inch is fantastic. My actual wife, when we got together had those. It was good also with all the sports we were doing. But she went every 2 weeks to an expert heirdressueuse to have it shaped carefully. I am telling her to do it again and she says that she wants to loose I do not know how much before doing it again and that she has to find a good place in Milano. The thing had started in Paris of all the places.

I also hate been touched for free and for nothing.
