Are there alternatives to the usb cable for getting epubs into the fbKindle books directory? I'm running linux on my pc and my usb connections to the Kindle sometimes work and sometimes they don't; if I fuzz with it enough I can get the usb to connect, but I'm hoping there is another way.

I can use Calibre over my home wireless to add books to the Kindle reading app, but don't see anyway to do this for fbKindle.

FBReader on PocketBook devices does use screen contents as a page. After you change font, font size, formatting or screen orientation it does repaginate the book changing the page number.

Hi. What about fbKindle on new FW version 3.1? Do you think that any future update (using previously installed lauchpad, "customupdates" folder and shift > shift > command) will works even with this "frozen" FW? I think so but I'd like to know also your opinion folks.

instructions on opening post for FBKindle need to be updated.

put latest bin.tar.gz file from here http://www.the-ebook.org/forum/viewt...=515359#515359 (it's number 4 in the list of steps) into the "customupdates" folder

then press key combination /shift shift I/ to unpack and install fbkindle

Can I launch fbKindle in Duokan. Has Doukan a launchpad like kindle system?

fbKindle and Duokan together.

someone can make this happen?

No problem, fbkindle works nicely with Duokan - except - you will have the clock and wifi symbols on the top

Just as you would with Amazon. You may play music with Duokan while reading in fbkindle. When Duokan updates the clock, it will appear on the very top. So, you get time as well

Press "O" thna find "Language", find your encoding if there is for your languge. Or - if the text is in unicode - just try unicode encoding.
