I read that I could reinfuse my Tibetian Mushroom 10-12 times. It didn;t work. The steep times to do that produce a tea that is far too weak for my liking.
I steep my oolongs twice and am fine with that. So far there are a few teas I have found I cannot resteep, Anna's is one, but most I get two pots out of. |

for all of you soda drinkers, there is a new report out (I'll hunt it down if anyone wants it) that is saying caramel colouring for soda should be banned as it contains ammonia. i have known for years that soda was bad for the kidneys, but never exactly why. this should be a wake-up call for a lot of folks!
![]() I make my coffee in a french press and rarely finish the entire serving. I also rarely drink coffee every day, generally about 3 times a week (unless I am traveling). the leftover coffee always goes into a jar into the fridge. I've never understood the prohibition about reheated coffee start forcing yourself to get up earlier in the morning, do NOT take a nap, and you will start being tired earlier at night and be able to get yourself back on a normal schedule. for two years I worked a job where I went into banks after hours and upgraded their telecommunications. my day ran from roughly 2 in the afternoon to 1 or 2 in the morning. then I would have to have a snack and wind down from the day. it took me awhile to get "back on track" and that is how I had to do it. |

I had 32 ounces of Rooibos Jungle Fire at home and am working on my second pot of Rooibos Lemon.
The Red teas are good for me, low caffiene (there is some), lots of anti oxidants and minerals and stuff. Yummy |

Pai Mu Tan 7min steeped
Prof.Crash did you steep the 2nd and 3rd infusions longer? One has to add 1 to 1.5 min steeping time for each following infusion. |

I add about 30 seconds to a minute for each additional infusion. Some teas do not reinfuse well. (shrugs)
I have 2 teas I don't reinfuse, which is pretty good given that I have 20 teas on my shelf that I drink regularly. There are benefits to resteeping, if you like the taste. 1) It halves the price of the tea per cup. 2) The second cup is decaf. When you drink 48 ounces of caffienated tea, have 48 ounces of decaf is a good thing. |

hehehehe
I will say the same thing when they tell me that there is a problem with my tea. If I were to die today I would want to be buried with my teddy bear from my childhood, my fully loaded Kindle, a cast iron tea pot, and a nice set of teas. |
